These are Singapore Supertrees. They range from 25-50 meters in height, and serve as vertical gardens at the Gardens By The Bay just next to the financial district in Singapore. As they will eventually be covered in natural vegetation, this is part of the city-state’s efforts to bring and nurture greenery within the city, and capture the essence of Singapore as a tropical city. Amazing architecture, meets nature. Brilliant.
